The Man In My Dreams

I woke up this morning knowing I had dreamt of you
I knew it because I had a feeling that was new
Every morning I wake up thinking of you

But this was different,

As if I was surprised to find myself in my bed with you in it...

I woke up this morning knowing you were the man in my dreams

It felt as if you were right there next to me

And when I woke and I felt a bit cold

I wished that you were there to hold

But even still, it felt so good

It felt relieving knowing you could

Still be the man that I find in my dreams

You don't know what you mean to me...

I woke up this morning knowing I had dreamt of you

I felt a million little tingles and a bit shaken up too

It was as if you had just left my bed

Or as if next to yours I had just laid down my head

And I hope tomorrow morning feels just the same...
