Wish We Could Be

I wish we could be anywhere but here,
In these places, with these people, onlooking eyes and I realize...
Even if we could tell them how we know to describe what we feel,
None of them would get it, they have nothing to compare, nothing this real.

I wish we could be anywhere else right now,
I'm often dreaming of the places, just our two faces and our two hearts,
I believe they could beat as one, they could touch and we're on,
Nothing compares to what we have here... But I want to take you somewhere...

I wish we could be anywhere but here,
I know there's no way to disguise completely what we feel inside,
I know my heart radiates towards you, and likely I believe that yours does too...
I know they can see it but they don't know the depth, when all else is gone and you are all that is left...
I know my heart and soul would be content, for you are all I want and need, I know you're Heaven sent...

I wish we could be far away from here,
I wish that we could take off and disappear,
Just you and I and only we'd know why...
You are all that this heart needs to survive...
