Lifted

I don't know how you do it but I'm telling you- I'm lifted.
You have stolen parts of me I never knew existed.
You have become a part of me and there's no going back.
I need to have you in my everyday just to keep my brain on track.

I'm not sure just what you did and I cannot explain but I'm lifted.
Just having you so deep in my life, my whole outlook has shifted.
There are things I want and things I never knew that I could have.
You have given me many things I did not know I never had.

I don't know how I missed but I found it in you and I'm lifted.
You have given life to me, in so many ways you are gifted.
Just a smile, just a wink, it's all I need and I am done.
No doubt in my mind that you just have to be the one.
